The procedure for generation of codes of the facilities having a negative impact on the environment has been approved of

The relevant order of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation “On approval of the procedure for generation of codes of the facilities having a negative impact on the environment and assignment of the corresponding facilities therewith” was registered in the Ministry of Justice, as it was reported on the official website of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation. The Order establishes the procedure for assignment of the facilities with a unique code that is not recurring through the passage of time, which is to be preserved until the facility is liquidated. In such a way, maintenance of the state register will be ensured, which will allow to obtain reliable information on the facilities that have negative influence on the environment, and to determine the fields of application of the best available technologies, as well as to apply special purpose planning methods. Moreover, maintenance of such a registry will allow to plan the activity of the state ecological surveillance agency.

According to the Federal Law as of July 21, 2014 No. 219-FZ, the facility code will be further used, among other things, as one piece of the information included into the application for the obtainment of a complex ecological permission to ensure the possibility for the entrepreneurs who carry out economic or other activity at such a facility to obtain such a permission.
