The Volga River is the main topic of the event. Asareminder, inJune 2015 ascientific and artistic exhibition “Volga” with participation of the leading photographers naturalists, camera-men, urbanists and culture experts was working also on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan. Theywereengagedincontinuous photo and video registration of both banks of the Volga from the riverhead to the river mouth. ThefestivalopenstothevisitorsauniquephotographicexhibitiondevotedtotheprimevalnatureofRussia, anditalsoprovidesanopportunity to meet with the most interesting photographers naturalists and directors of documentaries on nature, as well as heads of nature reserves, travellers, to attendpopular scientific lectures, familiarize with important Russian ecological public projects, and participate in fascinating master classes. Aspecialprogramwaselaboratedfor young visitors. Eachoneofthemwillbeabletoparticipateinaquest doing various interesting tasks and responding to various questions on Russian nature. Popular scientific lectures and shows will familiarize the children with the mysteries of nature. The event is organized by the Russian Geographical Society and the Federation Council.
“Primeval Russia” is one of the most large-scale and interesting festivals. Ithasbeenheldsince 2014, and day after day it attracts more and more amateurs of nature of the motherland. Within a month, unique pieces of work of photographers-naturalists are to be exhibited in Moscow, and then citizens of various cities of Russia and other countries will also have an opportunity to look at them.So far, more than 2 million people from 70 countries of the world have attended the Festival.
