The results of the activity of the South-Eastern Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology for the year 2015 have been summarized

A meeting was held at the South-Eastern Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan with participation of Deputy Minister – Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan for Nature Protection, Fayaz Shakirov “On the results of the activity in 2015 and the tasks for 2016”.   In 2015, in the course of fulfillment of the functions pertaining to assurance of the state ecological surveillance, the South-Eastern Territorial Department conducted 663 inspections. In the course of the carried out inspections they revealed 959 violations, whereof 844 have been taken care of. With regard to the revealed violations, the state inspectors drew 940 protocols on administrative violations. Administrative punishments in the form of penalties were inflicted amounting to 13,138.0 thousand rubles, whereof 11,131.5 thousand rubles have been collected. During 2015, all in all 160 meetings were held, which is by 35 meetings more as compared to 2014. Moreover, 152 meetings were held in favor of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, which is by 40 more, as compared to 2014, which makes up 95%. Moreover, 127 reports were received by the South-Eastern Territorial Department through the system “School eco-patrol”, whereof 20 reports were rejected, and 107 were reviewed. 

When summarizing the results of the meeting, Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Fayaz Shakirov, highly appreciated the work of the South-Eastern Territorial Department in 2015 and set the task to enhance control over the system for collection, transportation, sorting, recycling of solid domestic waste, as well as the work pertaining to collection of payments for the negative impact inflicted on the environment.
