“Nature protection is the task of each citizen of Tatarstan”

“By protecting nature we protect ourselves!”- under this slogan an event devoted to nature protection and ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan was held today at school No. 165 of Kazan. Senior pupils participated in it. The event was held with support of the Republican project “Succession pool”. The organizers familiarized the pupils with exceptional projects and nature protection campaigns that had so far been implemented. After that senior pupils presented their projects on solution of the ecological problems of Tatarstan. Pupils’ pieces of work were devoted to one of the most burning issues this year – the problem of pollution of water bodies.

“Succession pool” is a unique youth project that has been implemented in the Republic of Tatarstan by the Regional Public Organization “Academy of Creative Youth of the Republic of Tatarstan” since 2009. The main aim of the Republican project is to elaborate the system for selection, training, and support of young leaders, heads of youth public organizations, and student self-governance bodies from municipal units and municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as to activate the youth, develop business and personal traits of young leaders to further promote them in various public spheres.
