Inspectors of the South-Eastern Department conducted a raid to identify the sites of illegal snow depositing

A raid to identify the sites of illegal depositing of snow collected on the roads and on the territories of companies and organizations was held on January 21 by efforts of the South-Eastern Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. In the course of the raid three sites of snow depositing were revealed: in Almetyevsk on Sovetskaya str., in the urban-type settlement Nizhnyaya Maktama of Almetyevsk municipal district on the territory of the former brick-yard and in Bugulma on Magistralnaya str. Administrative protocols were drawn up with regard to this facts against officials under part 1 Article 3.6 of the Administrative Code of the Republic of Tatarstan (Violation of municipal rules of beautification of the territories of settlements and municipal districts, as well as municipal waste management rules). Moreover, 7 temporary snow depositing sites function in every district:

1. Almetyevsk – the territory behind the car market “Strelets”, 5 ha in area;
2. Bugulma – on the territory of the municipal unit “Berezovskoe rural settlement” in the area of 3.3 ha and one on Goncharova str. in the area of 1.0 ha;
3. Leninogorsk – the territory in the square of Volodarskogo str. – Zavodskaya str., sanitary and protection area of “ZHBI-STROY” LLC in the area of 40 thousand square meters;
4. Nurlat – the territory of the landfill of the solid domestic waste and the territory adjacent to the municipal airport in the area of 4.0 ha;
5. Cheremshan village – the territory of the former airport (on the south-western side) in the area of 1.0 ha.

As a reminder, the Republican Public Ecological Reception Office operates at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The information on violations of the nature protection legislation can be submitted at (843) 267-68-67, via e-mail at eco.signal@tatar.ru, or a report can be sent through the “People’s control” system in the “Ecology” category, while a special-purpose mobile application “School eco-patrol” was elaborated for pupils. Moreover, monetary remuneration is paid to the citizens who have provided the operative information on violations of the nature protection legislation with the relevant photo or video registration.
