A joint meeting of the Ministry of Ecology and the Department of the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resource Usage for the Republic of Tatarstan will be held today in Kazan on the results of work in 2015 and the tasks set for 2016. A joint meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Ecology and the Department of the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resource Usage for the Republic of Tatarstan will be held today in Kazan with participation of the Head of the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resource Usage Artem Sidorov and the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The results of work in 2015 and the tasks set for 2016 will be discussed during the meeting.

Heads of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of Russia and representatives of nature protection authorities of the Volga Federal District will participate in the meeting. The matters regarding activity of nature protection authorities in compliance with the basic state policy in the field of ecological development of the Russian Federation will be discussed during the meeting along with the results of work of the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resource Usage for the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan regarding detection and prevention of violations of the nature protection legislation, the matters pertaining to implementation of nature protection programs, and other issues. An exhibition will be organized in the framework of the event to present ecological elaborations of large companies, the systems for the monitoring of the environment along with information technologies, and the stands related to the ecological education in the Republic of Tatarstan.
