The Investigation Committee and the Ministry of Ecology signed an Agreement on cooperation

Today, the Investigation Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan signed an Agreement on Cooperation and Information Exchange at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The document was signed by the Head of the Office of Investigations under the Investigation Committee of the Russian Federation for the Republic of Tatarstan, Pavel Nikolaev, and the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Abdulganiev. The Agreement will allow to review the reports on violations and to carry out preliminary investigations with regard to the criminal cases on the violations committed on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan, in particular, ecological crimes pertaining to the management of waste and hazardous substances, toxins, related also to the pollution of water facilities and air, and other violations.
