Farid Abdulganiev in Moscow participates in the meeting of the Higher Ecological Board

Today, the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Abdulganiev, participates in the meeting of the Higher Ecological Board. The event is held by the Committee of the State Duma for Natural Resources and Ecology. The main topic for the discussion implies making amendments to the Federal Law “On production and consumption waste” in order to improve the normative and legal regulation to implement provisions of the Federal Law No.458-ФЗ. The meeting is held by Vladimir Kashin – chairperson of the Higher Ecological Board, chairperson of the Committee of the State Duma for Natural Resources, Nature Use and Ecology. In his speech he acknowledged effective work of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of ecological safety assurance. In particular, Kashin took a favorable view of attraction of pupils of educational establishments into the matter of environmental protection. He especially emphasized equipment of the largest companies of the Republic with the newest water treatment facilities, implementation of measures on decrease and purification of emissions and discharges. “There is no unclaimed land plot, compensatory plantings are carried out. Even during the dry years in the Volga region everything is being reclaimed and everything works”, acknowledged Vladimir Kashin.

Representatives of the Committee of the State Duma for Natural Resources, Nature Use and Ecology, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation, as well as ministers of the regional nature protection authorities, representatives of science and education participate in the event.
