Today, the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Abdulganiev, visited Kazan State Energy University (KSEU) where he familiarized with work of the Center of competences and technologies in the sphere of energy saving in the Republic of Tatarstan, on the training base whereof the students of KSEU are trained, workers of the energy field and industrial companies are re-trained, and scientific studies are carried out. The Minister of Ecology Farid Abdulganiev showed special interest in the information platform of the Center aimed at popularization of energy saving among the wide circle of energy consumers. The work of laboratories “Water bioresources”, “Biotesting” and an ecological and chemical laboratory was demonstrated to the Minister. “Ecology and energetics are the two interconnected disciplines of the sphere of our living activity. It is good to know that at Kazan State Energy University special attention is paid to the matters of ecology”, acknowledged Farid Abdulganiev. The Minister reminded of close interaction of students with specialists of the laboratory of the Ministry of Ecology. For the purposes of training of professional personnel of the nature protection field, the specialists carry out tours and provide a possibility for the future ecological specialists to undertake internship under the aegis of the leading specialists of the Central Specialized Inspection of Analytical Control. Moreover, Farid Abdulganiev highly appreciated the infrastructure of the laboratory under KSEU having noted that practical classes can become their competence in the nearest future.

At the end of the meeting, the parties discussed trends of interaction between the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and Kazan State Energy University.
