The international ECOTECH Forum and Exposition is discussed today in Moscow
Today, the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Abdulganiev, takes part in the Meeting of the Steering Committee for the preparation to the International ECOTECH Forum and Exposition devoted to the matters of “green” economy and nature protection technologies. The event will be held in April 2016 under the logo “’Green’ economy is the basis of sustainable development!” The Forum and Exposition covers all the directions of the field of environmental protection and ecological safety, and it is meant to be the key event for the professional audience involved in solution of nature protection tasks at a specific segment of the international market of eco-technologies, goods, works, and services. The exposition and discussions will touch upon all nature protection trends: water, air, wastes, land resources, energy conservation, “green" standards, eco-transport, forest resources and city environment, ecological monitoring and control, and ecological services. All in all, 400 exhibits are featured on the area of 16,000 sq. meters. About two and half thousand representatives from various countries of the world will participate in the event. The International forum and exposition will gather about 15 thousand of visitors. The ECOTECH business program will include events of various formats: plenary sessions, panel discussions, business round tables, and briefings. An open summary session of the Federal Ecological Board will take place, where the representatives of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation and the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resource Usage will participate along with the ministers of the regional nature protection authorities. The companies that have implemented at their production facilities or those that are developing the best available technologies on decrease of waste and discharges of pollutants, reduction of waste formation, as well as decrease in consumption of resources in various spheres of economy are among the key speakers. A series of coaching sessions for the ecological experts of the companies, master classes “Create a ‘green’ office”, “How to preserve nature by saving money: me and my house”, a forum of young leaders of ecological movements — these are the new special formats.
Special attention will be paid to the matters of ecological education: from training of professional specialists to the innovations in the field of ecological upbringing of children and youth.
