November 15 — World Recycling Day

The World Recycling Day is celebrated on November 15th. The main aim of the event is to attract the attention of authorities, public and industrial structures to the problem of limited resources, the decrease in the cost of the end product on the account of cheaper raw materials, and the struggle against environmental pollution. Recycling (waste recycling and disposal) implies repeated use or recirculation of litter and production waste.

Comprehensive exercises aimed at working out actions in case of emergency oil spills were held in the Zainsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In 11 months, 5,691 messages were received at the Republican Public Environmental Reception. Of these, 5,315 appeals are 93.3% of all received appeals, which have already been resolved.
During a survey of the territory of the Privolzhsky district of Kazan, inspectors from the Central Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan recorded violations of environmental legislation.
