The possibilities of implementation of innovation waste processing technologies were discussed in the Ministry of Ecology

The proposals of a German company regarding construction of a waste processing plant on the territory of the Republic were discussed today in the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The Minister for Ecology Farid Abdulganiev met with Head of "GESA" Ltd Diter Vagenbrener. “Separate collection, sorting and processing of waste is a topic of high relevance, since pollution of the environment with solid domestic waste leads to the disturbance of the ecological balance not only in the regions, but on the whole planet. That’s why today we set a task to decrease the burden on the landfills of solid domestic waste with regard to the waste that can be used repeatedly. Waste recycling allows to obtain semi-finished products that are quite exploitable”, acknowledged Farid Abdulganiev. The parties discussed the possibilities of implementation of innovation waste processing technologies in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Earlier, the delegation from Germany was familiarized with the activity of landfills of solid domestic waste in the “SEZ of industrial and production type “ALABUGA”, in Naberezhnye Chelny, Elabuga and Mendeleevsk, Chistopol, Alekseevskoe and Alkeevsky districts. They also visited Technopolis of “Khimgrad” OJSC and the site of the industrial park “Chistopol”.

Representatives of the Ministry of Construction, Architecture and Housing of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan, the State Committee on Tariffs of the Republic of Tatarstan, and the Investment Development Agency of the Republic of Tatarstan also participated in the meeting.
