Waste classification, correct disposal of hazardous waste and contribution of each person into nature preservation – the platform of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan is devoted to these topics during the “Day of Trainings”. The All-Russian educational project is held today in the IT-park in Kazan where about 300 pupils, students and representatives of the working youth of Tatarstan take part. Besides various relevant trends in the field of time management skills, self-organization technologies, as well as communication skills, here today one can familiarize with the projects of ecological enlightenment and careful attitude to nature, and instill the skills of ecological culture. According to Farid Abdulganiev, today’ work with the youth is a pledge of successful development of the Republic in economic and ecological contexts. The balance between these two spheres is very important. “It is possible that many of these children will make managerial decisions in future, so they need to take into consideration the ecological part”, acknowledged the Minister of Ecology. Proponents of ecological movements of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Center for Voluntary Work in the Republic of Tatarstan, the association of students of the Universiade village, and volunteers of the movement “BUDETCHISTO” share their knowledge during the training.
The “Day of Trainings” is a project meant to help young people acquire a whole range of soft skills. The event is held in more than 20 Russian regions. In Tatarstan it is held by the Republican branch of the All-Russian public organization “Russian Union of Youth” under the aegis of the Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography, the Trade Union of the students of the Moscow State University of Geodesy and Cartography, and the Ministry for Youth Affairs and Sport of the Republic of Tatarstan.
