The Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Farid Abdulganiev, and Deputy Minister for Ecology – Chief State Inspector for Nature Protection, Ramil Nizamov, participated today in the helicopter over-flight across the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan to reveal violations of the nature protection legislation. In the course of the over-flight, the sites of illegal waste placement were detected in Rybnaya Sloboda and Pestretsy districts of the Republic. The water area of the Kama River was inspected for extraction of common mineral resources, and the mission was set to verify licenses. Moreover, in the course of the raid, the Minister familiarized with the course of work aimed at reclamation of Togaevsky landfill in Tukaevo district and implementation of nature protection measures in Sarmanovo district carried out on the account of a part of the payment for the negative impact on the environment made to the budget of the municipal district.
Following the results of the over-flight, inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources will implement the measures of administrative influence, while the information on the violations has already been referred to Heads of the above mentioned municipal units for them to take the relevant measures.
