The lands in Aznakaevo damaged in the process of illegal quarry development are being reclaimed

In order to preserve land fertility on the territory of Aznakaevo municipal district, it was decided to reclaim the lands that had been damaged in the course of illegal extraction of common mineral resources. The work has already been carried out on the territory of 9 rural settlements on the total area of 8.56 ha. During 2016 it is planned to plant trees and reclaim six more sites of illegal development. As a result of the joint work of inspectors of Priikskoe Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Department of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography for the Republic of Tatarstan on the territory of Aznakaevo Municipal District, all in all, 15 sites of illegal quarry development have been revealed so far. The measures aimed at reclamation  of damaged lands are implemented in the framework of the municipal nature protection program of Aznakaevo municipal district in order to protect the environment and ensure ecological safety.
