Illegal turf development in Pestretsy district was prevented by the inspectors of the Ministry of Ecology

On September 29, 2015 during the state ecological monitoring, fellow workers of the State Inspection for Environmental Surveillance under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan together with fellow workers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the Pestretsy district revealed the fact of illegal extraction of common mineral resources (2 km to the north of Togashevo village). A foreloader and several KAMAZ trucks were arrested at the site of turf development. An administrative case was initiated against the offenders according to part 1, Article 7.3 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation “The use of mineral resources without an appropriate license to such use”, and to part 1, Article 8.6 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation “Unauthorized removal or displacement of the topsoil”. The work on identification of persons involved in the organization of this violation is carried out.
