The All-Russian cleaning campaign “Let’s do it” will be held in Tatarstan

A cleaning campaign “Let’s do it” will be held on September 20, 2015 in Kazan. The campaign is organized by the Center for Voluntary Work Development in the Republic of Tatarstan and such public movements as “Musora.bolshe.net” (“No more trash”), “Budet chisto” (“It will be clean”), and “EKA”. The event is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. Such campaigns will be held on the same day in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk, and the Nizhnyaya Kama National Park.
The event is aimed at motivation of citizens to take active part in nature protection and at promotion of the ecological culture of the population.

Comprehensive exercises aimed at working out actions in case of emergency oil spills were held in the Zainsky district of the Republic of Tatarstan. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In 11 months, 5,691 messages were received at the Republican Public Environmental Reception. Of these, 5,315 appeals are 93.3% of all received appeals, which have already been resolved.
