The annual Republican ecological and educational campaign, the All-Russian Ecological Lesson “Let’s do it together” was held today at educational establishments of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event is aimed at propaganda of ecological knowledge and upbringing of the young generation, enhancement of the level of ecological awareness, fostering of careful attitude of pupils to the environment of the motherland, formation of eco-oriented mindset, support of development of the system of continuous ecological education and enlightenment in the Republic of Tatarstan. On the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan, the campaign was organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan together with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as Executive Committees of municipal formations of the Republic. Fellow workers of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance, the Federal Service for Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare, the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resource Usage for the Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan Interdistrict Nature Protection Prosecutor’s Office, as well as fellow workers of the Volga-Kama State Biosphere Nature Reserve, proponents of public organizations and public ecological organizations along with teachers of higher educational establishments read the relevant lectures.
The lesson for pupils of vocational school No. 5 of Vakhitovsky district of Kazan was held by Head of the Department for Ecological Education and Interaction with Public Organizations under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Damir Valiullin, and a proponent of the youth ecological movement of the Republic of Tatarstan “BUDETCHISTO”, Rinat Sadykov. Damir Valiullin told about the work carried out by the Ministry with regard to ecological safety assurance and presented on behalf of the Ministry topical literature and a container for collection of used batteries.
The “Let’s do it together” campaign will be held until October 15th, and it will cover the majority of regions of the country.
