The All-Russian conference “Industrial ecology and safety” devoted to the memory of A.I. Schepovskikh

The All-Russian conference “Industrial ecology and safety” devoted to the memory of Anatoly Ivanovich Schepovskikh was held today in the framework of the Tatar Oil, Gas and Chemical Forum – 2015.   In his welcoming speech, the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Artem Sidorov, expressed confidence that the X Interregional Conference “Industrial ecology and safety” will mark specific trends for development and implementation into production of innovation nature protection technologies and equipment ensuring further decrease in the man-caused impact and ecological safety of production. The conference included specialists of the leading industrial companies of the Republic of Tatarstan and scientists from various regions of the Russian Federation. In their reports, participants turned the attention to the latest developments and technologies in liquidation of ecological consequences at production sites.

All in all, 17 reports were presented on the following topics: new and relevant matters regarding state regulation in the field of environment protection and perspectives for development of supervisory activity in the Russian Federation; the problems of compilation of guides of the best available technologies in the field of waste management; methodology for creation of geo-information system of management of natural resources and environmental protection for oil and gas extraction works; arrangement of events aimed at prevention and liquidation of spills of oil and oil products on the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan; reclamation of lands polluted with oil products and so on.

Following the results of the conference, an expert commission defined three best reports, the authors whereof were awarded with special diplomas.

 

1 place – Anna Zalmanovna Oshepkova (Head of the Department of the Federal State Budgetary Establishment Ural Research and Development Institute “Ecology”, candidate of technical sciences, associate professor, Perm).

2 place – Zilya Rashitovna Valisheva (Head of the Department for Environment Protection of “TANEKO” OJSC, Nichnekamsk).

3 place – Alexander Vasilyevich Shishinov (Chief Technical Officer of “Research and Development and Project Institute of Carbamide” OJSC (“NIIK” OJSC) Nizhny Novgorod Region, Dzershinsk).
