All in all, 23 addresses were received from citizens of the Republic in August with registration of the facts of violation of the nature protection legislation

A report was received by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan on August 13, 2015 regarding an illegal discharge of waste with video registration of the violation at the following address: 62 Fuchika str. A citizen of Kazan made a video of a woman discharging boxes with waste at an illegal place. The material was transferred to the Central Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. The inspectors conducted an administrative investigation and the offender has been identified. The video demonstrates a salesperson from the market located in the area of the 10th housing complex. A protocol was drawn up against her according to Article 8.2 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation for the failure to comply with ecological, sanitary and epidemiological requirements to handle production and consumption waste. Within 5 days the citizen who brought this offence to light will receive 1,000 (one thousand) rubles. Financial encouragement of anyone who provided information on the facts of violation with registration of a specific offender or a vehicle is ensured by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan to enhance efficacy of prevention of nature protection legislation violations. The payments will be made on the account of public funds of the Republic of Tatarstan in the framework of the state program “Protection of the environment, reproduction and use of natural resources of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2014-2020” within the limits of monetary means to be allocated to the Ministry. Any citizen who assisted in registration of the facts of discharge of consumption and production waste, as well as the facts of illegal quarry development (unauthorized extraction of common mineral resources), will receive 1,000 (one thousand) rubles.  Implementation of such a system will allow to foster the main efforts to identification and punishment of persons directly involved in this or that offence.

Assistance in registration of violations is rendered upon the relevant application submitted via eco.signal@tatar.ru, through Ministry’s online reception at http://eco.tatarstan.ru/rus/priem.htm, or by personal attendance of the applicant with attachment of a video and pictures of the violation

All in all, 23 addresses from citizens of Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Almetyevsk, Elabuga, Buinsk, Chistopol, as well as Novosheshminsk and Cheremshany municipal formations have been received in the Republic of Tatarstan as of August 1st, and 8 citizens have been so far remunerated.
