In the course of a scheduled inspection of the “Trade and Production Campaign ‘Sandal’” LLC, located in Tyuluachi district (Uzyak village), experts of the Central Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan revealed discharge of harmful substances (pollutants) into the air from the company’s boiler house. Administrative proceedings have been initiated against the company in accordance with Article 8.21 part 1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation “Discharge of pollutants into the air or harmful physical impact thereon with no special permission”, and the case was referred to the court to suspend activity of the given company. By order of Tyulyachi district court a ruling was given to hold the “TPC ‘Sandal’” LLC administratively liable according to Article 8.21 part 1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation, and to inflict punishment in the form of administrative suspension of activity for 60 days.
Moreover, by order of Sovetsky district court a ruling was given to hold “Amika” LLC administratively liable according to Article 8.21 part 1 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation for violation of the air protection rules, and to inflict punishment in the form of administrative suspension of activity for 20 days. Specialists of the Central Territorial Department drew air samples in the company’s affected area in compliance with citizens’ addresses on air pollution with dust of fine-ground break stone as a result of company’s economic activity located on Vosstaniya str. In compliance with the certificate of quantitative chemical analysis, the content of suspended materials exceeded maximum allowable concentrations by 8.8 times.
