Two facts of illegal use of mineral resources were revealed in Vysokaya Goradistrict

OnJune22nd, thefactofillegaluseofcommonly occurring mineral resources, namely building sand,was revealed in Makarovka village of Vysokaya Gora district of the Republic of Tatarstan, 184 square meters in area and 5 meters in depth. OnJune 23rd, inthesamedistrict, ontheterritoryofSemiozerye rural settlement, at attempt to develop sand quarry, 220 square meters in area and 2 meters in depth, was suppressed. Fellow workers of the police department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for Vysokaya Gora district together with authorities of the Prosecutor’s Office of Vysokaya Gora district of the Republic of Tatarstan took actions aimed at apprehension of persons involved in these offences. Special-purposeequipment, namelyanexcavator“Hyundai” anda front-end loader “Amkador” have been appropriated and moved to the car impound until the owners are identified and the circumstances of offences are clarified.The Prosecutor’s Officeinitiated administrative proceedings with regard to this fact. Fellow workers of the Ministry of Ecology implement measures on estimation of damage inflicted on the environment.
