Saturday work campaigns for cleaning of territories were held today in many cities and districts of the Republic of Tatarstan in the framework of the tow-month sanitary and ecological campaign. Acity-wideSaturdayworkcampaignwasalsoheldinKazan, where teams of ministries and authorities of the Republic took part along with representatives of companies and organizations, and about 65 thousand of citizens. FellowworkersoftheMinistryofEcologyandNaturalResources of the Republic of Tatarstan put several sites of Kazan in order. Theterritoryoftheforestlandlocatedon 37 Rodinastr. wasoneofthesites. Morethanahundred fellowworkersoftheMinistrytogetherwithstudents of Kazan National Research Technical University named after A.N. Tupolev, Kazan Polytechnical College, and Kazan Auto Transport Collegeparticipated in the event.Two truckloads of trash were removed from the territory.Citizens of 26 municipal formations of Tatarstan also helped with cleaning.
