Ecological specialists put everything in order in the Park of Newlyweds together with active members of the movement “Budet chisto” (“It will be clean”)

Today, fellow workers of the Ministry of Ecology headed by the Minister Artem Sidorov together with active members of theecological movement “Budet chisto” (“It will be clean”) arranged a Saturday work campaign in the Park of Newlyweds in Kazan (on the intersection of Portovaya and Devyataeva streets).  Theycleanedtheterritoryandbeautifiedit, cleaned it from litter, dead-wood anddead branched.According to the Minister of Ecology Artem Sidorov, the task was set in the Republic to put the territories into proper sanitary statebefore May holidays.Saturday work campaigns are held today in the majority of cities and districts of Tatarstan. Allinall, 38 mostlitteredsitesweredefinedinKazan, andteams of ministries and authorities of the Republic cleaned13 of them. In the framework of the two-month sanitary and ecological campaign for cleaning of territories held in the Republic of Tatarstan, 1,030 unauthorized waste placement sites were detected, while 661 landfills have already been liquidated. Theremainingviolationswillbeliquidatedthrough measures implemented in the framework of the two-month sanitary and ecological campaign. TheMinisteracknowledgedactivepositionofcitizensoftheRepublic, since the information on certainviolations is received by the Ministry of Ecology through such information systems as“People’s control” and “School eco-patrol”. Joint campaigns of the Ministry of Ecology and the ecological movement “Budet chisto” for cleaning of parks and square gardens will also be held in other cities and districts of the Republic.
