Resultsofthecampaign“Starlings have come” will be summarized on April 19th

Apressconferencedevotedtotheannual nature protection, ecological and educational campaign “Starlingshavecome” has been held at the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan. HeadoftheDepartmentforEcological Education and Interaction with Public Organizations under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Damir Valiullin,Director of the State Nature Complex Reserve “Chulpan” under the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Fanil Gimadiev,Principal Adviser of the Department for Protection and Use of Wildlife Objects of the Republic of TatarstanYury Pavlov, andPR Director of the “Maxidom”company Dariya Sergienko participatedinit.

“Starlingshavecome” is an annual nature protection campaign, the central event whereof features a contest among children for the best birdhouse and birdfeeder. In the last years it united several thousands of children, teachers and their parents. Toparticipateinthecontest, childrencreatedbirdhousesthattoday still can be seen on the streets and in the parks of our city. This year, for the 4th time, the campaign will be held in Kazan. Asearlier, anychild over 6 years old can participate in the contest. Please, submit your applications for participation to the official group “VKontakte” in the topic “Contest ‘Starlingshavecome’” (http://vk.com/maxidom).

Final event of the contest will be held on April 19th at 10:30 am in the park “Chernoe Ozero”, where best pieces of work will be chosen, and the authors will be awarded with memorable prizes – tablets and smart-phones. Allcraftssuitable for birds’ living will be hung in parks and nature reserves.
