Theconference “Ecologyand energy efficiency” was held at the expo center “Kazan Fair”

Theconference “Ecologyand energy efficiency” was held today at the expo center “Kazan Fair” in the framework of the XVI International specialized exhibition “Energetics.Cost-effective use of resources-2015”.  The event was held under the chairmanship of the First Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of TatarstanRustem Kamalov with participation of the UNIDO’s national project manager in the Russian Federation Boris Melnichuk. Participants of the conference discussed the matters related to implementation of energy-saving programs, as well as further enhancement of efficiency of the use offuel and energy resources. The following reports were presented in the course of the conference:

-       MethodologyUNIDO – TEST as an instrument of clean and resource-efficient production;

-       “Green” standards as a method for enhancement of energy efficiency;

-       Enhancementofreliabilityofmeteorological information from achimney stack of Naberezhnye ChelnyCentral Heating and Power Plant;

-       Reagentlesswaterdisinfectionbased on natural processes;

-       Rational water use in themachine-building complex;

-       Innovation development of Russian economy and enhancement of innovation and ecological culture of specialists and population;

-       Efficiencyofactive carbon production and mini-Central Heating and Power Plantsand so on.
