A briefing devoted to a two-month sanitary and ecological campaign was held today at the Cabinet of Ministers of Tatarstan.  DeputyMinisterforEcologyandNaturalResourcesoftheRepublicofTatarstan–ChiefStateInspectorforNatureProtectionoftheRepublicofTatarstanRamilNizamov, Head of the Central Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Ilkham Sabirov, First Deputy Minister of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan Kharis Musin, Deputy Head of theDepartment of the Federal Supervision Agency for Customer Protection and Human Welfare for the Republic of Tatarstan Almas Imamov, Deputy Chairperson of the Kazan Municipal Committee for External BeautificationRayes Zaynutdinovparticipatedinit.

Ramil Nizamov reported on preparation for the two-month sanitary campaign. Accordingtohim, for the purposes of control and more effective work on liquidation of unauthorized waste placement sites, all such sitesrevealed by supervisory authorities will be entered into the geo-information system GIS “Ecological map”atwww.ecokarta.tatar.ru. Alltheinformationonunauthorized waste placement sites revealed by citizens and received via hotlines, e-mails or through the system “People’s control” and “School eco-patrol” willalsobeincludedintothegivensystem.

AllexecutivecommitteesofmunicipalformationsoftheRepublicadoptedrelevantordersandenactments,operativeheadquarterswerecreatedtocoordinatetheprocessofholdingofatwo-monthcampaign;the plans on cleaning of subordinate territories were approved of; and Wednesday and Saturday work campaigns are planned. Theinformationonrevealedlandfillswill be operatively referred to executivecommitteesofmunicipalformationsto implement measures on their liquidation. Special attention will be paid to the territories of Gorkovskaya and Kuybyshevskaya railroads.

InordertorevealunauthorizedsitesofplacementofproductionandconsumptionwasteontheterritoryoftheRepublic, alltypes of transportation will be used; flying trips are planned for the territories of municipal districtы; water facilities will be inspected usingriver transport.

Specialattentionwillbepaidtosanitaryandecologicalstateoffacilitiesrelatedtoholdingof the 2015 WorldAquaticsChampionship, i.e. coastalbandsofwaterfacilitiesofKazanintheframeworkofpreparationforthechampionship.Teams consisting of public inspectors are formed, and a voluntary ecological movement is organized.
