Ameetingofthe InterdepartmentalCommissionforEcologicalSafetywasheldat the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan
Today, theMinisterforEcologyand Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Artem Sidorov,held a meetingof theInterdepartmentalCommissionforEcologicalSafety, Nature Use and Sanitary and Epidemiological Well-being of the Republic of Tatarstan. The meeting was held at the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstanin the form of a videoconference. Representatives of ministries and authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan, prosecution authorities of the Republic of Tatarstan – Kazan Interdistrict Nature Protection Prosecutor’s Office, Tatar Nature Protection Interdistrict Prosecutor’s Office, Departmentofthe Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resource Usage, the Federal Service on Customers' Rights Protection and Human Well-being Surveillance fortheRepublicofTatarstan, theProtectionandUseofWildlifeObjectsintheRepublicofTatarstan, and the Weather Control and Environmental Monitoring Serviceof the Republic of Tatarstan participated in it.
StartingApril 1, natureprotectionauthoritiesoftheRepublic, specialized ministries and authorities, companies and organizations, as well as executive committees of municipal formations of the Republic of Tatarstanproceeded to a two-monthsanitary and ecological campaign.Manydistrictsimplementedadditionalmeasureson enhancement of efficacy during the two-month campaign and created municipal interdepartmental commissions, operation whereof is planned as scheduled in every settlement.Zonal meetings were held in Tatarstan in the framework of preparation for the two-month sanitary and ecological campaign with participation of representatives of all municipal formations of the Republic. Technical training of chairpersons and secretaries of administrative commissions of municipal districts and urban districts, as well as officials, municipalities and those who are in charge of drawing up of administrative protocols was carried out together with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Tatarstan.AccordingtotheMinisterforEcologyArtemSidorov, the main extent of work regarding sanitary and ecologicalcleaning of the territory of the Republic should have been carried out by May9.Moreover, theMinisterremindedaboutsuchsystemsas “People’scontrol” and “School eco-patrol”, whereby each and every citizen of the Republiccan inform on found landfills in order to help supervisory authorities. Atpresent, inordertoputthingstosanitaryandecologicalorder,teams are formed consisting of public inspectors and a voluntary ecological movement is organized.
