A contest of young researchers of the environment was held at a vocational school of Buinsk

Adistrictcontestofyoung researchers of the environment was held at a boarding vocational school for talented children of Buinsk of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was organized by experts of the Trans-Kama Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan together with fellow workersof the Municipal Budgetary Establishment for Children’s Education “Buinsk Center for out-of-school activities”. The contest was aimed at attraction of pupils to research activities directed at studying of nature objects and practical activity related to their preservation and promotion of ecological education.

Pupils of Bik-Uteevskaya secondary school, Kambrodskaya school, vocational school No. 2, boarding vocational school for talented children, secondary school named after Academician R.Z. Sagdeeva, Runginskaya secondary school and Protopopovskaya school of Buinsk participated in the event.

Reports were related to the following topics:

- emissions;

- water inspection;

- study of the microclimate in school rooms;

- eco-project “Plant a tree”;

- ecological problems of a village.

Followingtheresultsofthecontest, Municipal Budgetary Educational Establishment “Protopopovskaya school of Buinsk Municipal District”was rated the first;Municipal Budgetary Educational Establishment “Kambrodskaya school” of Buinsk Municipal District was rated the second;and Municipal Budgetary Educational Establishment “Bik-Uteevskaya secondary school” of Buinsk Municipal District of the Republic of Tatarstan was the third.
