Specialists of the Ministry of Ecology inspected operation of the system offuel vapor recuperation at the gas filling station of “Picnic” LLC

The work on equipment of gas filling stations with systems for collection and recuperation of fuel vapors continues in Tatarstan.

Experts of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan familiarized today with operation of the closed system for dischargeof oil products at the gas filling station of “Picnic” LLC located on43 Chelyuskinastr. in Kazan. The system implies collection of fuel vaporsfrom reservoirs and fuel-dispensing units into road-tankers for further removal of vapors and their recuperation at oil delivery terminals.

In the course of the first stage – up to the end of 2015 —facilities for supply of oil products carry out work on equipment of gas filling stations owned by them within the time limits of theapproved programs. All in all, at present, 62 gas fuel stations in Kazan have already been equipped with the systems for fuel vapor recuperation.

The work carried out in this direction will allow to considerably decrease man-induced impact and discharges of pollutants into the air fromthe fueling complex facilities.
