Inspectors of the Trans-Kama Territorial Department prevented illegal sand extraction

On March 1, 2015 inspectorsof the Trans-Kama Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan organized a night raid to inspect the territories offeral quarries located on the territory of Buinsk municipal district. The fact of illegal quarry development was revealed in the course of the raid at a distance of 1 km to the west of Buinsk. The protocol was drawn in compliance with Article 7.3 part 1 against sole entrepreneur I.I. Gimadeev for the use of mineral resources without an appropriate license.

In order to detect sites of illegal quarry development more operatively, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan implemented several e-services – citizens’ addresses are received via e-mail and mobile communication devicesthat ensure feedback of population at 267-68-67 (Hotline) andeco.signal@tatar.ru. It is necessary to register make and plate number of equipment used at the quarry, precise work area with reference to specific orienting points, time and date of registration, and contact information. Anonymity is guaranteed
