An ecological and education campaign “Lesson of Cleanliness” was held today at secondary educational establishments of the Republic of Tatarstan. Fellow workers of nature protection authorities, federal and republican executive authoritiestaught the class as lecturers.
Experts of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan told the pupils about the plans of the Ministry for the next year that is declared to be the Year of Parks and Garden Squares at the School of Young Ecological Specialist at the premises of the Municipal Budgetary Educational Establishment “Vocational School No. 5” of Kazan. Fellow workers of the State Historical, Architectural and Art Reserve Museum “Kazan Kremlin” andscientific project group “Piligrim” arranged demonstration of geological showpieces– a collection ofthe extinct subclass of cephalopod, i.e.ammonites.
The “Lesson of cleanliness” campaign is aimed at dissemination of ecological knowledge among the young generation of the Republic, fostering of responsible attitude to natural resources and environment, formation of ecology-oriented mindset, support and development of the system of continuous ecological education and enlightenment in the Republic of Tatarstan.
Inspectors of the Central Department, together with representatives of the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office and the Office of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted a survey of the territory of the Zelenodolsk district.
The events were held in the Zainsky district. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from residents about violations of environmental legislation in the Yelabuga district. Inspectors from the Kama Department went to the site and confirmed the fact of dumping production and consumption waste into the territory of the Bug River water protection zone.
