The International Ecological Contest“The Red Book as viewed by children”

The International Ecological Contest of children’s creativity “The Red Book as viewed by children” started in Khanty-Mansiysk. The project is implemented in the framework of the International Ecological Campaign“Save and Protect” under the aegis of the Commission of the Russian Federation for UNESCO.The contest is aimed at formation of ecological culture and active attitude of the young generation with regard to the problem of reduction of diversity of flora and fauna in various regions and on the planet in general.Children from 6 to 17 years of age living both on the territory of the Russian Federation and abroad can participate in it.Categories of the contest include essay, photography, painting, graphic arts, sculpture touching upon ecology andmorality. Moreover, creative pieces of work created on the basis of personal impressionsfrom familiarization with Red Books of regions, and countries, as well as from meetings with declining species on the specially protected natural areas, after watching of films, and visiting of zoos are also accepted. Pieces of work for the contest and applications are accepted until December 31st.
As part of the new national project "Environmental well-being" Tatarstan has planned the implementation of 8 environmental initiatives with total funding of 3 billion rubles. The main part of the funds will be used for work on the federal project "Water of Russia", Minister of Ecology Azat Ziganshin said at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Today, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Azat Ziganshin spoke at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was dedicated to the start of the sanitary and ecological two-month period and environmental work plans for 2026 within the framework of the national project "Environmental well-being".
Today, at the weekly staff meeting with the heads of structural and territorial divisions, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Azat Ziganshin, presented badges and official identification cards to the staff of the department.
