On the Day without automobile the Minister of Ecology Artem Sidorov used public transportation

Today, all fellow workers of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstanparticipated in the World campaign “Day without automobile”. The parking lot adjacent to the Ministry is closed, and fellow workers were using public transportation, a crew bus and bicycles. The Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Artem Sidorov, also used public transportation today. He took trolleybus No. 8 to get from the traditional meeting that was held at the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan to his workplace. Artem Sidorov acknowledged that today everyone has a chance to support the campaign “Day without automobile” — we observe considerable improvement in the work of public transportation, and there is a possibility to ride a bike.
The campaign is meant to remind of the negative impact of cars on the environment and to urge the people see the idea of the necessity to use alternative means of transportation.
