“Lessons of cleanliness” will be held on September 16 at every educational establishment of Tatarstan

The Republican ecological and educational campaign “Lesson of cleanliness” will be held on September 16 at educational establishments of the Republic of Tatarstan on the occasion of the International Day for Ozone Layer Protection.
The event is aimed at distribution of ecological knowledge among the young generation of the Republic, fostering of responsible attitude to the natural resources and the environment, formation of ecological mind, support and development of the system of continuous ecological education and enlightenment in the Republic of Tatarstan.
The lessons will be held by experts of nature protection bodies of the Republic of Tatarstan, namelythe Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan, Department ofthe Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resource Usage for the Republic of Tatarstan, Department of theFederal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Monitoring Service for the Republic of Tatarstan, as well as teachers of profession-oriented faculties of higher educational establishmentsof the Republic. Besides lectures, field trips of pupils to the natural sites and stations of solid domestic waste sorting are planned.
Instruction of pupils on a new Republican interdepartmental contest “School eco-patrol” will be the novelty of this campaign. More details of the contest are available athttp://eco.tatarstan.ru/rus/info.php?id=615818
Inspectors of the Central Department, together with representatives of the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office and the Office of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted a survey of the territory of the Zelenodolsk district.
The events were held in the Zainsky district. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from residents about violations of environmental legislation in the Yelabuga district. Inspectors from the Kama Department went to the site and confirmed the fact of dumping production and consumption waste into the territory of the Bug River water protection zone.
