The Ministry of Ecology announced start of annual contests “ECOleader” and “Man and Nature”

The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan announces thestart of annual republican contests “ECOleader” and “Man and Nature”.
The contests are aimed at attraction of public attention to the problems of ecological safety, encouragement of nature protection activity of companies, as well as activation of the work of republican mass media, improvement of professional skills of journalists that cover ecology-related topics.
The contest “ECOLeader” is held in the following categories:
Among companies and organizations in the following fields:
“Electrical energy industry”
“Oil producing andpetrochemical industry”
“Production of construction materials”
“Mechanical engineering”
“Forest andwood processing industry”
“Collection and processing ofsecondary resources”
“Agroindustrial complex andfood industry”
“Housing and utility complex”

Among local authorities of municipal formations:
“For achievements in the field of nature protection on the territory of the city”
“For achievements in the field of nature protection on the territory of municipal district”
“For achievements in the field of nature protection on the territory of rural settlement”

Among educational establishments:
“Ecological education at pre-school establishments”
“Ecological education at secondary educational establishments”
“Ecological education at higher educational and specialized establishments”

Among public associations and citizens of the Republic
