Dear fishermen, workers of the companies and establishments of the fishing industry, and veterans of the field!
I would like to extend my sincere and cordial congratulations on the occasion of your professional holiday – the Fisherman’s Day!
The Fisherman’s Day is celebrated in many countries all over the world. But among former Soviet Union countries this holiday is especially spiced up. In particular, in Russia the Fisherman’s Day has been officially celebrated since 1980. On this day all members of the unique brotherhood congratulate one another and all people whose life is associated with recovery and processing of fish.
Besides romanticism, profession of a fisherman is a choice of a difficult life journey. Such a journey is within the scope of abilities only of strong people. Despite difficulties characteristic of the fishing industry, today you solve very important tasks: you promote saturation of the consumer market of our republic with high-quality fish products and ensure enhancement of efficiency of the use of water biological resources.
I would like to extend by sincere congratulations to all fishermen — professionals, amateurs and all those who love fishing and enjoy this activity!
Let your experience and professionalism encourage promotion and development of the fishing industry of the Republic of Tatarstan and support the best fishing traditions of our country, and may respect of your colleagues and friends, and love of relatives always be by your side and help you in your working practice!

Inspectors of the Central Department, together with representatives of the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office and the Office of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted a survey of the territory of the Zelenodolsk district.
The events were held in the Zainsky district. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from residents about violations of environmental legislation in the Yelabuga district. Inspectors from the Kama Department went to the site and confirmed the fact of dumping production and consumption waste into the territory of the Bug River water protection zone.
