More than 1,200 cars of Tatarstan were inspected in the framework of the campaign “Clean air”

Today, inspectorsoftheMinistryofEcologyandNaturalResourcesoftheRepublicofTatarstantogetherwithfellowworkersoftheDepartmentof theState Road Traffic Safety Inspectorate under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan conducted an ordinary raid in the framework of the campaign “Clean air”. Theconcentrationofharmfulpollutantsinexhaust gases of vehicles was measured in the course of the raid at the stationary post of the police unit “Laishevo” by inspectors of the Ministryusing a gas analyzer — a measuring device for determination of the qualitative and quantitative composition of gas mixtures.Currently, preventivemeasuresforsurveillanceovercompliancewiththespecified norms of discharges of pollutants in exhaust gases of motor vehicles are carried out in the Republic in order to decrease negative impact of motor transport on the environment.
SelectiveinstrumentalmonitoringofoperatingvehiclesonmotorwaysoflargecitiesoftheRepublicofTatarstanwithhigh anthropogenic load, as well as cars released by the companies of the Republic is carried out in the framework of the indicated measures.
AsitwasnotedbytheHeadoftheAirProtectionDepartmentunder the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Oleg Kashevarov,as on June 27, 2014, all in all, 1,255 cars were inspected at the companies of the Republic and on the roads, 12% whereof don’t comply with the required norms of discharges of pollutants inexhaust gases.Following the results of inspections, 152 protocols were drawn up for administrative violations of air protection legislation, i.e. operation of motor vehicles with excessive pollutants in exhaust gases. Rulingsweregivenregardingimposition of fines amounting to more than 50 thousand rubles.
As part of the new national project "Environmental well-being" Tatarstan has planned the implementation of 8 environmental initiatives with total funding of 3 billion rubles. The main part of the funds will be used for work on the federal project "Water of Russia", Minister of Ecology Azat Ziganshin said at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Today, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Azat Ziganshin spoke at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was dedicated to the start of the sanitary and ecological two-month period and environmental work plans for 2026 within the framework of the national project "Environmental well-being".
Today, at the weekly staff meeting with the heads of structural and territorial divisions, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Azat Ziganshin, presented badges and official identification cards to the staff of the department.
