Theinternationalresearch-to-practiceconferencedevotedtothe 10thanniversaryofcreationofthe Federal Supervisory Natural Resources Management Service (Rosprirodnadzor) for the Republic of Tatarstan “Implementation of economic mechanisms of natural resources use regulation in the field of waste management. ExperienceofforeignandRussiancompanies” washeldtodayattheKazanStateEnergeticUniversity. FirstDeputyPrimeMinisteroftheRepublicofTatarstanAlexeyPesoshin, HeadoftheDepartmentofRosprirodnadzor for the Republic of Tatarstan Farit Khayrutdinov, the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov,scientists from Russia and abroad, representatives ofwaste sorting and waste processing companies of Sweden,Czech Republic and Finland took part in the conference.
The Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Artem Sidorov made a report on the strategy of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of waste management. HeacknowledgedthatacomplexproductionandconsumptionwastemanagementsystemwillbecreatedinthenearestfutureontheterritoryoftheRepublic, which presupposes a combination of information, legal, and organizational institutes and mechanisms, as well as logistic schemes and infrastructural production facilities related to collection, accumulation, transportation, use, deactivation and placement of wastes. Theunifiedcomplexmanagementsysteminthefieldofproductionand consumption waste management is meanwhile the most important organizational institute, and it is based on the availability of full, relevant and reliable information on formation and movement of wastes.
AsitwasnotedbyArtemSidorovinhisreport, theMinistryofEcologystudied the best practices of the activity regarding waste management in various constituent entities of the Russian Federation, and the options of development of the waste management system in the Republic of Tatarstan were determined.Thecentralizedapproachofthecompany “SARIYABio-Industries Volga” was called by the Minister one of the most successful with regard to biological wastes. The plant on recovery of biological wastes built in Elabuga municipal district allows to solve the problem without numerous biothermal Bekkary pits (animal burial sites) also beyond the boundaries of Tatarstan.
TheMinistryhasstudiedtheexperienceofotherregionsof the Volga Federal District on creation of intermunicipal landfills for solid domestic waste and the related infrastructure, as well as on creationof complex waste management systems and territorial waste management schemes.Atpresent, theMinistryofEcologyandNatural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan carries out work on creation of the system for management of solid domestic waste and other consumption wasteon the territory of the Republic of Tatarstan, including development of theterritorial waste management scheme for the whole Republic.
As part of the new national project "Environmental well-being" Tatarstan has planned the implementation of 8 environmental initiatives with total funding of 3 billion rubles. The main part of the funds will be used for work on the federal project "Water of Russia", Minister of Ecology Azat Ziganshin said at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Today, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Azat Ziganshin spoke at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was dedicated to the start of the sanitary and ecological two-month period and environmental work plans for 2026 within the framework of the national project "Environmental well-being".
Today, at the weekly staff meeting with the heads of structural and territorial divisions, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Azat Ziganshin, presented badges and official identification cards to the staff of the department.
