Shores of the Kazanka river were cleaned in the framework of the campaign “Green capital”

The campaign on cleaning of public recreation territories “Green capital” was held today in Kazan in the framework of a two-month sanitary and ecological campaign. The order was established in the coastal area of the river Kazanka in the area of the bridge “Millennium” by proponents of public organizations, students of Kazan (Volga) Federal University and Kazan National Research Technological University. At this site, about 80 bags of waste were collected. The territory of the beach “Locomotive” was cleaned by the efforts of students of Kazan State Energy University – more than 40 bags of waste were collected. On this day, about 250 people participated in the campaign.
The campaign “Green capital” is organized by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan with the assistance of the Kazan Executive Committee, public municipal organizations and higher educational establishments of the Republic.
As part of the new national project "Environmental well-being" Tatarstan has planned the implementation of 8 environmental initiatives with total funding of 3 billion rubles. The main part of the funds will be used for work on the federal project "Water of Russia", Minister of Ecology Azat Ziganshin said at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Today, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Azat Ziganshin spoke at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was dedicated to the start of the sanitary and ecological two-month period and environmental work plans for 2026 within the framework of the national project "Environmental well-being".
Today, at the weekly staff meeting with the heads of structural and territorial divisions, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Azat Ziganshin, presented badges and official identification cards to the staff of the department.
