The International Scientific and Industrial Forum “Great rivers” is held in Nizhny Novgorod

The Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Artem Sidorov, takes part in the work of the 16th International Scientific and Industrial Forum “Great rivers” that is held these days in Nizhny Novgorod. The Forum is devoted to the problems of sustainable and eco-friendly economic development of the great rivers of the world, creation of new forms of international and interregional partnership with regard to solution of the global problems of regulation of the impact made on the environment. The most important tasks of the Forum include development of legal, normative and economic mechanisms for sustainable development assurance, creation of effective forms of management and coordination of the activity of regions in water basins, as well as international cooperation and implementation of international projects.
Each year, representatives of more than 20 world countries, certain international organizations and more than 40 constituent entities of the Russian Federation participate in the Forum.
As part of the new national project "Environmental well-being" Tatarstan has planned the implementation of 8 environmental initiatives with total funding of 3 billion rubles. The main part of the funds will be used for work on the federal project "Water of Russia", Minister of Ecology Azat Ziganshin said at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Today, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Azat Ziganshin spoke at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was dedicated to the start of the sanitary and ecological two-month period and environmental work plans for 2026 within the framework of the national project "Environmental well-being".
Today, at the weekly staff meeting with the heads of structural and territorial divisions, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Azat Ziganshin, presented badges and official identification cards to the staff of the department.
