Ecological specialists detected the most littered sites along the railway shelterbelt

Today, in the framework of a two-month sanitary and ecological campaign, an inspection tour around Kazan Region of the Gorkovsky railroad and the adjacent territories was made on the following route: Kazan – Kurkachi – Yudino – Zeleny Dol – Kazan. Management of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Transport and Public Road System of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Gorkovsky railroad, representatives of the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resource Usage, the Federal Service on Surveillance for Consumer rights protection and human well-being for the Republic of Tatarstan, Administrative and technical inspection of Kazan, representatives of district administrations of Kazan, as well as Vysokaya Gora and Zelenodolsk regions of the Republic inspected sanitary state of the easement area of the rail facilities. In the course of the tour, 57 sites of unauthorized waste placement were revealed. The greatest amount of violations accounts for horticultural societies and garage cooperatives of Zelenodolsk, Vysokaya gora districts of the Republic and Kirovsky district of Kazan. The acts were drawn up with regard to the revealed facts of violation of the nature protection legislation, and the work on their elimination should be completed within 10 days. The recurrent inspection tour is planned for May 8.
Similar raids will have been carried out all over the Republic by April 30, 2014.
Inspectors of the Central Department, together with representatives of the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office and the Office of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted a survey of the territory of the Zelenodolsk district.
The events were held in the Zainsky district. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from residents about violations of environmental legislation in the Yelabuga district. Inspectors from the Kama Department went to the site and confirmed the fact of dumping production and consumption waste into the territory of the Bug River water protection zone.
