The campaign “Green Saturday” will be held on April 26

On April 26, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan together with proponents of public ecological associations, institutes and citizens of Kazan organizes a series of Saturday work campaigns and planting of seedlings in the framework of the Republican campaign “Day of forest planting” and the city-wide Saturday work campaign.
This Saturday, the territories will be cleaned at the following addresses:
- Derbyshki village (the site of bitumen spillage in April 2013);
- “Hermitage Garden” (the cleaning is carried out by the Institute for Ecology and Subsurface Resources Management under the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Tatar Institute of Assistance to Business);
- public garden on Tinchurina street (near bus service station);
- intersection of Vakhitova and Yarullina streets – lake “Kharovoe”;
- Kazan zoological and botanical garden (zoo) on 112 Khadi Taktash street;
Saturday work campaigns will start at 10 am.
Moreover, other events in cities and districts of the Republic of Tatarstan are planned in the framework of the Republican campaign “Day of forest planting” together with the children’s public organization “Union of children’s organizations of the Republic of Tatarstan”.

Inspectors of the Central Department, together with representatives of the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office and the Office of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted a survey of the territory of the Zelenodolsk district.
The events were held in the Zainsky district. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from residents about violations of environmental legislation in the Yelabuga district. Inspectors from the Kama Department went to the site and confirmed the fact of dumping production and consumption waste into the territory of the Bug River water protection zone.
