Violations were revealed in the work of “Poligon TBO” OOO (“Landfill SDW”) and “Blagoystroystvo and Ozelenenie” OOO (“Beautification and Landscaping”)

InspectorsoftheSouth-EasternTerritorialDepartmentundertheMinistryofEcologyandNaturalResourcesoftheRepublicofTatarstantogetherwithfellowworkersoftheTatarInterdistrictNatureProtectionProsecutor’sOfficecarriedoutanextraordinaryfieldinspectionwithregardtoobservationoftherequirementsof nature protection legislation on storage, burial and recycling of solid domestic waste on the territory of Berezovskoe rural settlement of Bugulma districtowned by“Poligon TBO” OOO.
FollowingtheresultsoftheStateecologicalsurveillance, a series of violations of the legislation were revealed in the field of nature protection.Inparticular, violationsoftheFederalLaw “Onenvironmentalprotection”, “Onproductionandconsumptionwastes”, Sanitary and epidemiological Rules and regulations “Hygienic requirements to the placement and deactivation of production and consumption waste” were revealed.
Ecologicalrequirementsduringexploitationofcompanies, constructionsorotherfacilitiesarenotobservedontheterritoryofthelandfill; ecological and sanitary and epidemiological requirements in the course of handling of production and consumption waste are not met; the places for temporary storage of waste of the 3rdclass of hazardare not equipped; and discharge of production and consumption waste on to the soil was permitted.
Moreover, expertsoftheSouth-EasternTerritorialDepartmentundertheMinistrycarriedoutanextraordinaryfield inspection together with theTatarInterdistrictNatureProtectionProsecutor’sOfficeconcerning Limited Liability Companies “Poligon TBO” and“Blagoystroystvo and Ozelenenie” located at a 6 kilometers’ distance from Leninogorsk.
FollowingtheresultsoftheStateecologicalsurveillanceof Limited Liability Companies “PoligonTBO” and“Blagoystroystvo and Ozelenenie”, violations of the Federal Law “On environmental protection”, the law “On air protection”and the Law“On production and consumption waste” were revealed. Dischargeofproduction and consumption waste on to the territory was permitted, the adjacent territory was littered with waste, and the workers of the “Poligon TBO” burn large-size waste.
Following the results of the extraordinary inspection, materials were referred to theTatarInterdistrictNatureProtectionProsecutor’sOfficein order to take all necessary response measures.
