The Minister for Ecology, Artem Sidorov: “We hope that many of the participants of the Olympiad will become our colleagues in the nearest future”

A solemn ceremony of honoring of the winners of the All-Russian School Olympiad in Ecology was held today in Kazan at a cultural and entertainment center “Pyramid” with participation of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan–the Minister for Science and Education, Engel Fattakhov.The Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Artem Sidorov, addressed the audience with a welcoming speech. HeexpressedgratitudetotheorganizersandparticipantsoftheOlympiadfortheeffort, purposefulness and commitment to the nature of the motherland, as well as to the professional community of teachers for their work regarding training of talented children. “Today it is hardly possible to imagine any field of the human life without the matters regarding protection and conservation of the environment. Theattitudetonature, amongeverythingelse, determined the maturity of our society, as well as its potential for quality changes. WehopethatmanyoftheOlympiadparticipantspresenttodayherewill become our colleagues in the nearest future and dedicated ecological specialists both by profession and by the way of living. TheMinistryisconductinggreatworkwithregardtoassuranceofecologicalsafetyoftheRepublic, while State programs and large investment projects are being implementedthat are aimed at minimization of the impact on the environment. Nevertheless, fostering of ecological awareness and education of the young generation of our Republic is still one of the most important directions of our work. A lot of important and interesting work lies ahead of us. I count on fruitful cooperation, I wish you victories, successes and new achievements”, it is said in the welcoming address of the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Artem Sidorov.
The All-Russian School Olympiad in Ecology was held on the premises of the Kazan (Volga) Federal Universityfrom March 30 to April 4. Allinall,250 pupilsof 9-11th forms — winners of the regional stage that was held in 50 constituent entities of the Russian Federation — participated in it. Besides a theoretical stage, the participants had to present their research projects.
As part of the new national project "Environmental well-being" Tatarstan has planned the implementation of 8 environmental initiatives with total funding of 3 billion rubles. The main part of the funds will be used for work on the federal project "Water of Russia", Minister of Ecology Azat Ziganshin said at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan.
Today, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Azat Ziganshin spoke at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event was dedicated to the start of the sanitary and ecological two-month period and environmental work plans for 2026 within the framework of the national project "Environmental well-being".
Today, at the weekly staff meeting with the heads of structural and territorial divisions, the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Azat Ziganshin, presented badges and official identification cards to the staff of the department.
