Interdepartmental Commission Meeting

ThemeetingoftheInterdepartmentalCommitteeforEcologicalSafetyAssurance, NatureManagementandSanitaryand Epidemiological Well-being in the Republic of Tatarstan was held today at the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan in the form of a video conference. ThemeetingwasheldbytheFirstDeputyPrimeMinisterof the Republic of Tatarstan, Alexey Pesoshin. The Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Artem Sidorov, acknowledged in his report that by April 1 all nature protection services of the Republic, specialized ministries and authorities, companies and organizations, executive committees of municipal formations of the Republic of Tatarstan will start putting everything into sanitary and ecological order on the territory of the Republic. The Minister turned attention to the necessity of assurance of the proper state of landfills of solid domestic waste,animal burial sites and the availability of landfills for acceptance of additional volumes of wastes.AddressingtheMinistryoftheMinistryofTransportationandPublicRoadSystem,АртArtem Sidorov emphasized the need to arrange the events regarding inspection of the state of roads and roadsides, to pay special attention to the state of territories of airports, river ports and railway stations. The Minister for Ecology acknowledged the necessity to control the state of construction sites and organization of removal of construction wastes.
Speaking of the readiness of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Minister acknowledged that in the framework of preparation for the two-month campaign, all the staff was mobilized. This year public inspectors for nature protection were engaged for the first time. Itisplannedtotrainandadmitabout 100public inspectors.Operativegroupswereorganizedto carry outcontrol over the works carried out in local authorities. Thecontrolwillbeensuredusingaviation, includingunmanned vehicles, river and ground transportation.
