The meeting with representatives of Executive committees of municipal formations devoted to the activity of the Cis-Kama Territorial Department was held in Naberezhnye Chelny

ThemeetingwithheadsofExecutivecommitteesofmunicipalformationsoftheCis-KamaterritorywasheldinNaberezhnyeChelny. Activity of the Cis-Kama Territorial Department and interaction with local authorities were on the agenda of the meeting. In his report, the Head of the Cis-Kama Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Nail Garipov, told about the activity of the territorial departmentin 2013 and its tasks for 2014. Specialattentionwaspaidtothemattersofcooperationinthefieldofenvironmentprotection, including planning and implementation of nature protection measures, interaction with administrative commissions, peculiarities of execution of documents during extraction of common mineralsfor local needs, implementation of measures regarding fostering of ecological awareness and education. Ecologicalproblemsofeachdistrict, inparticular, absenceof treatment facilities in Tarlovka village of Elabuga district, Krasny Bor village of Agryz district, inefficient work of treatment facilities in Aktanysh village and Kuzembetyevo village ofMenzelinsk district were reviewed separately. AnexpertoftheterritorialdepartmentoftheAdministrationofthe Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resource Usage, Rezeda Sabitova, explained the necessity for Executive committees to participate in joint work on expansionof the registry of payers for negative impact.ItwasacknowledgedthattheNaberezhnyeChelnyExecutiveCommitteeset a positiveexampleby holding a meeting engagingconcerned supervisionagencies. Attheendofthemeeting,DirectoroftheNaberezhnyeChelnyChildren’sEcologicalandBiologicalCenterNo. 4, Vladimir Tovma, was awarded with a Certificate of Merit of the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Artem Sidorov, for great personal contribution into the development of the system of continuous ecological educationand upbringing of the young generation. Fellow workers of the Cis-Kama Territorial Department were awarded with the letters of gratitude and Certificates of Merit of Executive Committees. Moreover, headsofcompaniesengagedinrecycling of secondary waste were also awarded with the letters of gratitude.
