Summarization of results of the activity of the Trans-Kama Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan

The meeting of the Trans-Kama Territorial Department under the Ministry “On the results of activity in 2013 and the tasks set for 2014” was held in Nizhnekamsk with participation of the Deputy Minister, Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan for Environmental Protection, Ramil Nizamov.
In the context of fulfillment of functions regarding state ecological control exercised by the Trans-Kama Territorial Department in 2013, all in all, 320 inspections were carried out. In the course of the carried out measures, 324 violations were detected, and 271 violations were eliminated.
With regard to the detected violations, state inspectors of the Trans-Kama Territorial Department drew up 307 protocols on administrative offences.
All in all, administrative sanctions in the form of fines were imposed to the amount of more than two million rubles, while 1,577,266 rubles worth of fines were collected.
Liability claims were raised against offenders for gross violations of nature protection legislation. Four claims amounting to 257,821 thousand rubles were referred to courts, and 4 of them were collected amounting to 269,009 thousand rubles.
From January 1, 2012 to February 6, 2014, 12 claims (whereof 11 claims have been “Settled”, 1 claim is in the status “Motivated refusal”) were received through the system “People’s control” to the address of Trans-Kama Territorial Department.
The main tasks for 2014 include active detection of violations of nature protection legislation in the course of the state ecological control, enhancement of control with regard to observation of authorization documents by natural resources users.
Inspectors of the Central Department, together with representatives of the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office and the Office of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted a survey of the territory of the Zelenodolsk district.
The events were held in the Zainsky district. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from residents about violations of environmental legislation in the Yelabuga district. Inspectors from the Kama Department went to the site and confirmed the fact of dumping production and consumption waste into the territory of the Bug River water protection zone.
