Results of activity for 2013 were summarized at the Northern Territorial Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan

The meeting “On the results of activity for 2013 and goal setting for 2014” with participation of the Deputy Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Tatarstan for Environment Protection, Ramil Nizamov, was held at the Northern Territorial Department under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.
In the framework of fulfillment of functions regarding state ecological surveillance, in 2013, the Northern Territorial Department carried out 349 inspections, in the course of which 321 violations were revealed and eliminated.
With regard to revealed violations, state inspectors of the Northern Territorial Department drew up 291 protocols regarding administrative offences. Administrative penalties in the form of fines were imposed in the amount of 781 thousand rubles, while 645 thousand rubles worth of fines were collected.
Offenders were charged for gross violations of nature protection legislation which entails indemnification; moreover, 6 claims totaling to 13 million rubles were referred to courts.
From 1.01.2012 to 04.02.2014, 5 referrals (status of 4 referrals is “Claim has been resolved”, status of 1 referral is “Motivated refusal”) were submitted through the system “People’s control” to the address of the Northern Territorial Department.
Ramil Nizamov set the task to enhance control over the system of collection, transportation, assortment and disposal of solid domestic waste, as well as the work in the context of collection of fees for negative impact on the environment.
