The Minister for Ecology familiarized with work of the system of capturing and recuperation of engine fuel vapors at filling stations

Today, the Minister for Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan, Artem Sidorov, familiarized with work of the system of capturing and recuperation of engine fuel vapors at filling station No. 184 of “Tatneft — Filling station Center” LLC on Amirkhan street, 21а. Experts of the Central Specialized Inspection of Analytical Control under the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan drew air samples.
The system for reduction of polluting emissions was installed at this filling station in spring 2013. The equipment allows to reduce concentration of pollutants in the air on the territory of filling stations and on the adjacent territories, which will considerably improve ecological situation.
By 2015 it is planned to equip all the filling stations located in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Nizhnekamsk and Almetyevsk with recuperation systems. Further it is planned to re-equip filling stations located in other settlements.
Inspectors of the Central Department, together with representatives of the Kazan Interdistrict Environmental Prosecutor's Office and the Office of the Federal Service for State Registration, Cadastre and Cartography of the Republic of Tatarstan, conducted a survey of the territory of the Zelenodolsk district.
The events were held in the Zainsky district. The commission included inspectors from the Zakamsky Department of the Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Tatarstan received an appeal from residents about violations of environmental legislation in the Yelabuga district. Inspectors from the Kama Department went to the site and confirmed the fact of dumping production and consumption waste into the territory of the Bug River water protection zone.
